Description

This course takes you from your first login in Jira Cloud all the way through site administration and Atlassian's newest AI features, whether you are a complete beginner or already using Jira and want to go deeper.

You will start with the fundamentals: setting up your workspace, creating and editing issues, working with epics, linking related work, and keeping a backlog organized. Once that is solid, we move into Agile project management, planning and running sprints, managing releases, working with timelines, and customizing boards to match how your team actually works. You will also learn to write your own searches in JQL, save them as filters, and build dashboards that give you and your stakeholders a real time view of progress.

If you are heading toward a Jira Administrator role, the second half of the course is built for you. We go through Atlassian Cloud architecture from the ground up, covering system settings, user and group management, marketplace apps, custom work types, screens, and field configuration. You will also build custom workflows with your own transition rules, and set up permission schemes that keep access locked down the way your organization needs.

The course closes with Atlassian Rovo and AI in Jira, using AI agents inside your work items, generating subtasks automatically, speeding up backlog refinement, and building a custom Rovo agent of your own. Finish the course and you will be able to configure, run, and support Jira for a real team, not just click through a demo.
