Description

In this course you will learn how to use the CAT TOOL MemoQ starting from the very first steps. The working concept of CAT TOOLS will be explained with clear slides showing the use of Full and Fuzzy Matches coming from the Translation Memory as well as Repetitions and Internal Matches coming from the document itself.

Then the course will bring you to real working areas and every step will be explained smoothly and easily so that you will be able to understand every single feature.

You will go through the creation of a standard project by selecting the documents you would like to translate and the Language Resources you would like to use.

Then you will be taught how to create a Translation Memory from scratch. See what the difference between a Working Translation Memory and a Master Translation Memory is and how to use them. The second Language Resource is the TermBase wich will be explained in details from the very first creation to the regular use of it.

In the following session you will learn how to export and import your Translation Memories as a TMX file so that you can exchange them with your colleagues or your Project Manager
