In this beginner guitar class, you will learn everything you need to know in order to pick up an electric or an acoustic guitar and play it fast. This class is for those who have little to no prior guitar experience.

In this class you will learn:

Guitar Anatomy and Tuning: Explore the basic essential parts of the guitar and how to properly tune your instrument with two different methods of tuning.

Holding A Pick and Warm-Up Exercises: Discover how to properly hold a guitar pick and begin your journey with playing warm-up exercises to build finger strength, speed, and enhance coordination.

Popular Song Riffs: We cover a few popular beginner song riffs that tons of beginner guitarists learn on their journey. Visuals are included to make learning these riffs easier than ever.

Introducing Guitar Chords: As an important foundation for playing, Major and Minor chords will be introduced by using helpful visuals to make it a simple learning process.

Chord Progressions: This is critical to transition between various chords and sequence them together to play songs.

Strumming Patterns: Setting the rhythm and tempo of your playing will be key to developing your skills as a guitarist.

Songs: 2 complete songs which each one using different chords and strumming patterns.

Class Project: demonstrate your skills as you develop your own creative chord progression and unique strumming pattern.
