TRAIN YOUR BRAIN LIKE A MUSCLE!

Practice self care for 5 minutes each day for 21 Days. These neuro-plasticity based mental exercises are designed to help you build mental toughness, and high performance.

  • Self Awareness5:10

A short body scan to practice self awareness. Checking in with your body helps to settle the mind and to notice what physiological sensations and emotions might be present.

  • Focus & Concentration4:40

Concentration and focus allow us to be fully present and think more clearly and deeply, which evidently lead to better decision making, better choices and better relationships.

It is said that if you focus on nothing, you become distracted by everything.

This 5 minute guided meditation will begin to build that concentration muscle in the physical cells of your brain, and create new electrical neural pathways that correspond to focus and attention.

  • Homeostasis5:10

Homeostasis is a state of equilibrium between the mind and the heart. It is the quality of being in harmony with yourself in the midst of any experience.

With a practice of complete equilibrium you bring them back to a biorythmic state so both the mind and the heart work in cohesion, so they work for you not against you.

  • Letting Go5:00

We all deal with resentments, holding on to harm that has been caused in the past. This is a painful experience.

When you hold on like this, you feel the pain repeatedly. Sometimes these resentments may feel like they offer security from future harm. But by letting go, you can free up space in the heart to allow love and care to take root.

This practice of letting go will help you release the grip of these painful experiences and offer freedom

    to the mind and heart.

  • Gratitude5:03

When you open the heart to a feeling of gratitude, you open up the entire body to a state of receptivity, the mind thinks it's already received, and that all these beautiful things already happened. As your thoughts create your reality things begin to happen for you.

Set an intention to send gratitude in advance for your day and pave the way for success through this powerful visualization technique.

  • Positive Affirmations5:09

What you focus on grows. Where you place your conscious awareness is where you create energy flow. Positive affirmations are very powerful because they interrupt the fear- based thought circuits of the brain.

When these affirmations are repeated over and over again, they begin to take charge of your thoughts, slowly changing your pattern of thinking and ultimately changing your life. Your thoughts create your reality.

  • Loving Kindness5:26

Loving-Kindness Meditation focuses on developing feelings of goodwill, kindness, and warmth towards ourself and others. As compassion, kindness, and empathy are very basic emotions to us.

Research shows that Loving-Kindness Meditation has tremendous benefits from greater well-being to providing relief from illness and improving emotional intelligence.

  • Bonus - 14 minute - Breathe Away Anxiety13:02

Fear can be paralyzing as our brain naturally has a negativity bias. So if we do not intentionally and consistently train the mind to become resourceful and cultivate positive thoughts that open us to possibilities, we can easily get caught in self-sabotage. This practice is designed to help cut the fear-driven thought loop of the reptile brain and tap into the part of the brain that is linked to possibilities. Allow yourself to create new neural pathways of creative problem solving and inspiration.
