In this course you will learn how to introduce yourself and others, talk about hobbies and learn a number of verbs and objects. Through my own language learning experiences I have determined that the best way to learn is to repeat concepts in different contexts, and in so doing reinforcing the material covered. Using this experience I have developed a teaching style that will require you to take an active part in class by responding to my questions when you can and repeating the new vocabulary. This technique allows my students to make rapid progress and to really get to grips with the language and really start speaking it from day one. Through speaking and responding to questions, I also hope to build up your confidence when using the language so that you can overcome language barriers and start speaking with the people around you and making new friends and meaningful connections.
In addition to the video material, there are also some quizzes available so you can test your knowledge and review what we have done. The quizzes are made up of full sentences so you familiarise yourself with how the language works and not just learning vocabulary by rote.
Through this technique of repeating and adding information, you will learn a lot of new vocabulary, how to form sentences and begin speaking in German! I hope you enjoy the course and that you achieve your language goals!
