A research work found a significantly lower prevalence of depression symptoms for persons with a low consumption of ‘ready-to-eat’ foods and for low-frequency fast-food eaters (Liu et al., 2007).

Here, we’re referencing or citing the same source at the end of the sentence. But, we use different format. What are these formats? Why do we need to use these formats?

Imagine a research thesis with over 200 references. How do you manage large number of references? How to save these references in a library and re-use them in another document?

Course Structure

This course answers the above questions. It starts by explaining what Endnote is and why it is essential. It then shows how to install the Endnote. I'll go through its interface and explore different menus and buttons. You'll learn how to integrate it into the Microsoft Word, as well.

I'll talk about Endnote styles. I'll go through different styles and show you their differences. You'll also learn how to install a new style in the Endnote.

Next, we start importing citations from different online sources. I'll show you how you can import your citation files into Endnote automatically.

It is also important to cite your references correctly. You'll learn what details to include in each type of references, like journal papers, conference papers, book, etc.

You'll learn managing your references, like editing and updating. Formatting the references section in your document is also important. I'll show you how to set font size, spacing, etc. in your Word document.

I'll teach you some tips and tricks such as dealing with incomplete references, formatting APA in the context, exporting your library, and more.

Finally, I'll talk about advanced topics in Endnote, like editing and creating styles.
