Hi! My name is Mohammad, and I’m from Tehran, Iran. As a native Farsi speaker who's been living in the United States of America for the past decade, I've been involved and in love to hear about different cultures and countries and share about Iranian/Persian cultures.
Besides dancing to Persian music (which is one of my hobbies), teaching Farsi is one of my favorite activities that bring me joy and fulfillment. My love toward the Persian culture rose significantly since I first came to the USA in 2010 (to pursue my PhD studies) and I started to simply introduce and Persian culture to my international friends and lab-mates. They told me multiple times in different instances comments like: “Mohammad, You are very good at teaching and sharing and you should teach about Iran so more people learn about your home country, have you thought about creating a Farsi course?” All that amazing feedback and my passion for language encouraged me to produce a few online Farsi materials in early 2019. After I heard similar positive feedback from Farsi learners of different countries, I decided to create my FIRST ever ONLINE Farsi course and I’m so excited to share it with you NOW.
As a lead scientist, who has been working in the Human Emotion Understanding and Recognition field for the past 12 years, I’m fully aware of the importance of having a FUN and INTERACTIVE course for better learning and retaining new skill sets, especially when it comes to a new language. That’s why I created this Farsi Speaking Crash Course, to engage tourists of Farsi speaking countries, avid Farsi and language learners, and/or any passionate individuals who’d love to interactively experience learning Farsi in a conversational setting.
This is the course that can facilitate and enhance your Farsi learning experience and skillset and I would love to help you during the journey of learning a new language. Send me a message if there are any particular topics you would like me to focus on for future courses in the Farsi as a second language field. I look forward to hearing from you.
