Learn Chinese Mandarin fast!

Hello everyone! Thank you so much for enrolling in my Learn Chinese Mandarin Fast course! I am Teacher B.  Throughout this course you will learn many aspects of Chinese culture in addition to the basics of Chinese Mandarin.

You've already completed the first steps by enrolling. Please watch the course's Introduction video in full to understand the course's objective and to get to know a little more about me and how it relates to Chinese culture.

This course will mainly be spoken and written in English however, you will see & hear me speaking Chinese Mandarin. I speak standard simplified Beijing Chinese Mandarin.

Pro tip: Please practice repeating the Chinese words and phrases with me to improve your pronunciations.

Chinese Mandarin is an easy language to learn.

Throughout these videos I will introduce the 4 Chinese Mandarin tones, we will practice them together.

You'll also learn many new Chinese Mandarin words.

Chinese unlike English and many other Roman languages uses hanzi characters (汉字）hànzì; and pinyin to help give sounds to the words for non-Chinese speakers. For example, 吃 chī (to eat in Chinese).

We will listen and learn the differences between each intonation. Throughout this video we will see several Chinese characters, pinyins and their English translations.

We will also recognize the various characters and how to practice saying these words the correct way in Chinese Mandarin.

Since we’ve learned the 1st and 2nd tones, let’s continue learning the other 2 tones- the 3rd & 4th tones.

Throughout this lesson, we will learn 5 Chinese greetings.

Everything from the popular 你好 to the more polite 您好. There are several ways to say hello in Chinese Mandarin. Which do you know?

In this lesson, we will learn the Chinese Pronouns. These are some of the most important words you’ll need to master and know to continue learning Chinese Mandarin. I introduce them throughout this lesson.

Let’s learn some fun survival Chinese expressions. Don’t worry, many of the words used throughout this lesson may be are new to you, but just follow along and practice. You’ll hear them in other Chinese courses. Let’s practice!
