Learn Business Law

In this course students will learn about business law and what legal decisions should be considered when starting a new business along with how someone can make the best decision for their specific situation to protect themselves from future liability. Students will learn which business organization will help give them a tax advantage and how to limit liability. Nothing in this course creates an attorney client relationship and this information is intended to be educational and informational and does not constitute legal advice. This course was developed to better help students to understand how business law can affect their personal life and their pursuit of opening their own small business. This course will cover topics that will help future business owners to better understand what kind of business organization will both fit their goals and needs as future business owners. It will also help to introduce students to the type of unique language that they may run into when working with small businesses and small business owners. My goal is for all students to finish this course with a strong understanding of these basic principles and terminology so they may be better informed in the future for having conversations about their goals, plans, and dreams in the pursuit of opportunities in the business realm. Business law can affect numerous parts of a person's life and students are well prepared if they understand the various descriptors, language, and vocabulary associated with this topic.
