When booking for a family, we must sell more than one seat.

Example: Selling 3 seats

? Meaning:

• SS → Sell seat

• 2→ Number of seats

• L → Booking class

• 1 → Segment line number

? Always sell seats equal to the number of passengers (excluding infants).

Example: Infant with adult

? 4. Adding an Infant (INF)

Children are added with CHD and date of birth.

Example: One child

• CHD age is 2–11 years

Infants are added with an adult and do not need a seat.

? Rules for infants:

• Age below 2 years

• Infant is linked to one adult

• No seat is sold for infant

? One adult can carry only one infant.
