Welcome to the course! In this first lecture you'll get an overview of the programme from Gareth, and find out how we're going to work through it.
Welcome!
In this video Dr. Angelina Bennet will introduce you to the theory of Personality Type.
In this lecture, Gareth English will take you through some of the core foundations of Personality Type. What is it, and what isn't it?
The idea of 'Preferences' is really key to understanding and getting the most from your personality Type. Here Gareth will help you understand this concept through a short exercise.
The next step is to discover (or even rediscover) your Personality Type. In this lecture, Gareth will take you through how to do this, and what to bear in mind as you go.
Once you've completed this section you'll have your SnapType Personality Report, and know quite a lot more about yourself.
In this video, Angelina will go into detail on the first of the Preference pairs in your Type: Extraversion and Introversion.
If you've already got your report, then this will explain more about it.
The second Preference pair is S and I: Sensing and iNtuition (we use the 'N' from iNtuition, as the I has been used from Introversion.
So in this lecture you'll discover more about how people gather the information that they need.
The third of the Preference pairs: Thinking and Feeling. In this lecture you'll learn more about these two different ways of making decisions.
The fourth and final pair of Preferences is Judging and Perceiving. This looks at how you work with the world around you.
Now you've got your report, you want to make the most of it. In this lecture, Gareth will take you through some of the key elements of the report.
Sometimes it can be hard to work out what your Type is. After all, you're a unique person with a unique life.
In this lecture Gareth will take you through some hints and tips to help you to get some clarity.
Now you understand more about Type, how can you make the most of it? How can you put your new-found knowledge and understanding into practice?
