The module explores, Educational measurement refers to the use of educational assessments and the analysis of data such as scores obtained from academic reviews to infer the abilities and proficiencies of students. The module delivers the spectrum towards evaluation and analysis. Evaluation is a process of making value judgements over a level of performance or achievement in particular.

Both the educational assessment process and evaluating data collected from academic reviews are two examples of educational measurement. One example is the process of using educational assessments. The term "educational measurement" refers to compiling and analyzing the many academic test results. One method of educational measurement is examining the outcomes that students have attained after participating in various educational assessments and exams. The use of educational measurement enables conclusions to be established about the student's skill sets and knowledge bases, which is a significant benefit of the practice. The inquiry carried out throughout this meeting focuses on a single overarching concept. The module provides the necessary spectrum for the inspection and analysis to be carried out effectively. The act of assigning a value to something, in this case, a particular level of performance or success, and forming conclusions based on the consequences of that process is called evaluation. Evaluation is a process. From one point of view, the evaluation may be seen as a procedure that can be applied to any subject matter.
