Section 1: Introduction to Resilient Leadership
Meet Jim and Sofia, our Resilient Leadership experts who will introduce a unique and amazing New Way of Seeing, Thinking, and Leading. Join them as they unpack what we call the “secret sauce” of effective leadership – The Emotional System. Here, you will learn how exceptional leaders build and direct their personal leadership style and how they develop, empower, and lead others to achieve success, especially in the face of big challenges. In a nutshell, you will begin to learn how to Stay Calm, Stay the Course, and Stay Connected anytime, anywhere, and in the face of any challenge.
Section 2: Be A Step-Down Transformer
Resilient Leaders know that all human interactions are a blend of thoughts and feelings. They also know that what we think is shaped by how we feel even if we are convinced it to be otherwise. As the level of anxiety in a team or group goes up, the level of clear thinking goes down. Equipped with this awareness, the Resilient Leader always strives to lower the level of anxiety in the areas they influence by being a step-down transformer. Stay with Jim and Sofia to learn how this is done.
Section 3: Distant Enough-Close Enough
As Resilient Leaders work to lower anxiety within the groups they influence, they also seek to build authentic and well-balanced relationships. The Resilient Leader’s balance point is captured in the expression “Close Enough to Influence – Distant Enough to Lead”. These leaders are sought out and respected. Their relationships build unity, and their perspectives build confidence. Jim and Sofia explore this essential of leadership with personal stories and invite other leaders to share their experiences.
Section 4: Navigating Emotional Systems
Begin here and begin now. Start the practice of using Resilient Leadership concepts by taking command of your leadership approach. Learn how to manage emotional triangles, how to recognize and curb over and under-functioning, and how to cope with resistance and even sabotage. Learn the pathway to greater self-awareness, then self-regulation, and finally, self-definition as you complete one cycle on your way to self-mastery as a leader.
