When we're in a position of giving instructions to others, it's vital we make them clear and easy to follow. Quite often, we don't think of how we give direction. And then if the result is wrong, we'll blame the other people for not following it correctly.

Being assertive is an important life skill. And by being assertive, you're clearly demonstrating where you stand, what you want, your opinion, or your request without offending others.
