Law of Desire: Create Like the Universe to Get What You Want

Lecture 3 teaches students the process of creation in human lives. I.e. here is where we will introduce the The Law of Desire!

Students have been amazed just how much their lives reflect nature's patterns of creation!

After this course you will be able to identify the patterns of creation in individual lives and in society at large.

The lecture presents examples of creation in human lives. For instance, it shows how the same pattern underlays a child's pursuit of an object they desire, how two lovers merge as one, and how a family is structured!

This lecture cements the idea of how creation applies in human lives and has been one of the favorites of the course!

After this course you will be able to identify several examples of creation in human lives followed by a homework assignment exposing you to even more real-life examples!

After completion of this lecture, you will understand how purity manifests in human lives (e.g. virtue, genuineness, passion, etc.) as well as the overriding significance of purity in creating great and enduring creations in nature and in lives!

Here you will learn the building blocks you can use towards truly creating a great life!

Lecture 6 is where rubber hits the road! In Lecture 6 we will learn specific means to create the things we need, want, and desire via the Law of Desire Worksheets.

Students have appreciated the practical, systematic, and objective approach of the worksheets towards helping you achieve your goals.

1. Better define what it is you desire.

2. Learn objective means to evaluate the quality of your choices, if they are feasible, and if they have a good chance of succeeding.

3. You will also discover specific means to plan and bring the object of your desire, into being.

All based on leveraging the universe’s wonderful creative force that we studied in earlier sections.

Lecture 7 picks up where Lecture 6 left off. Namely, in Lecture 7 we'll complete the remaining two steps of the Law of Desire Worksheets (i.e. in Lecture 7 we'll step through Steps 5-6 of the Law of Desire Worksheets having completed steps 1-4 in Lecture 6).

In summary, Lecture 6 included defining and evaluating the desire whereas in Lecture 7 we enter the 'execution' stage of taking actions to acquire our desires!

Thus in Lecture 7, we look at specific steps to develop a plan (Step 5 of the worksheet) and than the steps necessary to to bring your dreams into reality (which is Step 6 of the worksheet)!

Carrying on from a Lecture 6 and 7’s general introduction of the Law of Desire Worksheets, Lecture 8 includes a a specific example of buying a new car, to help students get a 'hands-on' level of familiarity of the Law of Desire Worksheets.

Through providing a real life example, students gain a full circle perspective on how to acquire the things they desire!

Now that we've learned specific means to acquire what we need and desire, we now examine the next phase of the journey, which is in fact, is often its most challenging. Of course what I'm talking about here, is actually implementing and carrying out our pursuits!

Why I say that it is often the most difficult is because between anxieties, worrying, our own self-doubts, and those of others; even the greatest of intentions can be derailed. Stack on top of this, the demands of life and maintaining the necessary mental fortitude, and you have the necessary ingredients to extinguish what you started.

Thus our focus in Lectures 9 and 10 will be to identify the key challenges we face, how to put them in the proper context, and manage them so they don't needlessly interfere with our needs and desires!

In Lecture 9 we address the ancient impulses that drive us to be fearful, worrisome, and doubtful, what I call million-year-old memories.

Students have applauded the realistic approach and practical solutions of Lecture 9!

In Lecture 10 we examine another major challenge often preventing us from achieving our desires. Here we will look at powerfully motivating flocking impulses that tend to discourage us from even getting started!

Think 'group mind' and 'common wisdom' which while designed to keep us safe, however are less applicable these days, and can create major obstacles towards achieving our higher callings.

What we're talking about here are self-doubts, generated both internally, and externally by others who would discourage us from trying new things, and striving for greater levels of achievement.

Lecture 10 will show practical and effective means to address and overcome doubts to ensure we succeed in pursing our dreams and desires!

In Lecture 11 we go beyond considering how to acquire our discreet needs, wants, and desires such as products and relationships etc.

In Lecture 11 we switch gears and reflect on the larger, overall scheme of things, and how we how might use our new Law of Desire skills to achieve life’s big-ticket items such as our life's calling and purpose!

In preparation for learning specific steps to uncovering our destiny in Lecture 12, Lecture 11 outlines how I personally uncovered my professional and personal destinies. Fun stuff and it brings back a lot of fond memories!

In Lecture 12 we step through specific steps to nurture the process of uncovering what your heart genuinely desires.

The process begins by better recognizing what it is that you truly love doing and what you are good at.

It then involves trying different things until you begin sensing, what it is you enjoy the most and then increasingly following similar paths.

All leading to a progressive triangulation, in a direction inward and towards your heart and uncovering what it truly loves! Once found, you will have found your life's calling and destiny! Brilliant stuff!
