In this intermediate level course, we will build upon our knowledge from the basic level course before this. We will go over what counterattacks to employ when our opponents hit our muri, including bada huri, bada muri, evade/lean back muri, and dul sonmok; when opponents hit our sonmok, including parry muri, sangkyuk sonmok muri, angular block muri, and figure 8 block muri; when opponents hit our huri, including figure 8 block muri, handle block muri, and inside glide block muri. We will end with an introduction to advanced attacks starting with the most basic: jukdo muri and its variations, including outside jukdo strike, inside jukdo strike, outside jukdo glide, inside jukdo glide, press muri, jukdo muri taegyuk muri, and jukdo muri turn around taegyuk muri. We will also introduce kodengisaum (close quarter combat) including regular tsegyuk muri, taegyuk sonmok, feint taegyuk muri, figure 8 taegyuk muri, inside glide block taegyuk muri, pressing down with jukdo, and right side taegyuk huri, and counterattacks against taegyuk strikes, including block huri, block muri, shoulder rest/hold, clenching, push muri, push & muri strike, pressing down with jukdo, handle block muri, inside jukdo block muri, and miscellaneous advanced skills such as huri when opponent lifts handle, muri when opponent drops handle, right side taegyuk huri, and one hand muri.
