Introduction to the Course. The purpose of the course is to create a series of simple but powerful techniques to defend yourself against any type of grabs. Our goal is to recreate realistic attacks but always keep the safety of our training partner as our priority.
The best defense is always prevention and avoiding the fight. If we are aware of our surroundings nobody should be able to get so close that they could grab us. Awareness first, followed by verbal and visual command, then evasion if we can... and in case the attacker continues, we strike before he or she can grab us.
