Description

Through these interactive, fun and engaging sessions, the participants will gain a basic understanding of the anatomy and functioning of the Brain. They will become cognizant of the science behind learning as well as the factors that influence habits, focus, novelty and creativity. Some tools and techniques to increase cognitive reserve are also discussed. Cognitive reserve is the brain's ability to optimize performance through alternative cognitive strategies for solving challenges. The uniqueness of this course is that it presents a fine blend of theory and practice. It is applicable for people of all ages and educational backgrounds.

It’s maximum occurrence is between 0-2 years of life. Neurons simply wait to network and form pathways according to the types of stimuli it  receives. From 2 to 25 years – an individual’s personality is moulded by the neuronal pathways that are created in our brains. From 25 years of life onwards, by repeated use these pathways get stronger and stronger making us who we are. The pathways that are not used are either pruned or lost.

A great amount of research has gone into developing this module of the Brighter Minds Program. It incorporates a series Research and application designed to best tap into the hidden potential of the brain.
