Explore how the brain learns and shapes reality through neuroplasticity, brain waves, and the roles of environment and genetics, with practical neuroeducation insights for all ages.
Braniacs quiz tests your brain knowledge with questions on neuron numbers, brain regions, and connectome, while highlighting neuroplasticity and the brain’s remarkable capacity to adapt.
Explore how optical illusions reveal that seeing is not always believing, as the brain constructs reality from sensory input. Learn how motion, color, perspective, and context shape perception.
Explore the brain's evolution from reptilian to neocortex, and how the limbic system and amygdala hijack trigger fight or flight, with six-second strategies to rewire responses.
Discover neuroplasticity: how neurons that fire together wire together to rewire brain neural connections through chemical, structural, and functional changes, enabling learning across life.
Explore how the left and right hemispheres process detail and holistic information, debunk the left/right brain myth, and learn how environment and love shape neuroplasticity and emotional intelligence for learning.
Explore brain health across life, from autism, ADHD, and dyslexia to synesthesia and colors, and learn how cognitive reserve grows through mental activity, social engagement, diet, sleep, and novelty.
Explore education neuroscience, neuroplasticity, and multimodal interventions to boost learning, focus, memory, and emotional stability and balance in children.
Unlock children's cognitive potential through the brighter minds program that leverages neuroplasticity to strengthen observational skills, focus, creativity, intuition, and self-confidence.
Through these interactive, fun and engaging sessions, the participants will gain a basic understanding of the anatomy and functioning of the Brain. They will become cognizant of the science behind learning as well as the factors that influence habits, focus, novelty and creativity. Some tools and techniques to increase cognitive reserve are also discussed. Cognitive reserve is the brain's ability to optimize performance through alternative cognitive strategies for solving challenges. The uniqueness of this course is that it presents a fine blend of theory and practice. It is applicable for people of all ages and educational backgrounds.
It’s maximum occurrence is between 0-2 years of life. Neurons simply wait to network and form pathways according to the types of stimuli it receives. From 2 to 25 years – an individual’s personality is moulded by the neuronal pathways that are created in our brains. From 25 years of life onwards, by repeated use these pathways get stronger and stronger making us who we are. The pathways that are not used are either pruned or lost.
A great amount of research has gone into developing this module of the Brighter Minds Program. It incorporates a series Research and application designed to best tap into the hidden potential of the brain.
