Kinematics for GCE "O" Level Physics
What you'll learn
- Difference between Speed & Velocity, Distance & Displacement, Uniform & Non-Uniform Acceleration
- Graphical analysis of Distance-time graph and Velocity-time graph
- Describe the motion of bodies under free fall with and without air resistance
- Free fall and effect of Air Resistance
- Concept and computation of terminal velocity
Requirements
- As this course covers graphical analysis, though not mandatory, it would be easier for students to have basic understanding of graph plotting and calculating area and gradient of graphs.
Description
Are you a student taking the Singapore-Cambridge GCE “O” Level Pure Physics examination? Are you having difficulties understanding the concepts in Kinematics and not able to follow what your teachers taught in school? If so, then this course is for you.
This Kinematic course is carefully crafted to help students achieve the learning outcomes detailed in the GCE “O” level Physics (6091) syllabus. It is designed to make the learning process simple, fast and effective.
Every lesson consists of a short video that explains the concept with animated illustrations using everyday-life examples. At various learning milestone, quizzes with questions of gradual difficulty levels are provided to enable students to test their understanding and reinforce their learning. Throughout the course, students will be given exam preparation tips, advised on commonly made mistakes and misconceptions and taught the skills of how to correctly answer GCE O Level questions. By the end of the course, students will be well equipped with the knowledge required for examination.

Instructor
From my past 10 years tutoring high school students in Physics, I have met many students who simply did not understand what was taught in school. Even two weeks before their examination, they were still unable to answer a single Physics question. Many of these students have lost interest in Physics and have very low self confidence when faced with examination questions.
I have helped these students through a very simple method of learning each concept in less than 10 minutes. Then encouraging them to attempt commonly asked examination questions after they have learned a concept. Within just half a day, these students master the entire Physics syllabus taught in a year. Many of these students shocked their school teachers when they go from failing to scoring in Physics examination, within a very short time.
I believe there are many students out there in need of such help. Hence, I have assembled the resources that I have built over the years into video courses, selling at just tens of dollars so that students who could not afford a tutor can have access to good learning materials and excel in their Physics.
I have a degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from National University of Singapore and a Master in Business Administration from Nanyang Technological University. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are my favorite subjects.
I hope you will enjoy this learning journey with me.
