Are you teaching your child to grow up as the right person?
We all like our kids to grow as good people in this world when they grow up as mature men or women. Who is the parent who will not want to see the child grow as a suitable person as much as possible? Are we helping them to grow up in that way?
How do we teach them to be nice?
Parents must communicate with the kids regularly and tell them about proper behavior so they will remember that—communication is very casual, to learn from you. If not, they will not listen. It would help if you found the relaxing time to take to them about how they can be helpful to others. First, we must be kind to our kids, treat them respectfully, and speak to them with kind words. Then they get used to that sort of treatment from you, and when you tell them to be kind to others, they will do it because they have it from you.
Parents teach their kids social skills.
Parents must teach kids social skills, starting with allowing them to play and mix with other kids. When the parents allow their kids to mix around with other kids would help if the parents of all the kids also get to know them well. If not, you might get worried about whom those kids are and about their parents as well. When my kids were small, they always mixed with my neighbor’s children and never worried about anything because I also used to move around with their parents.
Children who play with other kids develop themselves, become happier, and find enjoyment.
If a kid finds it difficult to mix with other kids, we should not ignore that because the kid develops the same fear when it grows. Therefore, parents must show the importance of developing social skills to prevent their children from social anxiety.
How a child becomes independent?
They must learn independence at home from a young age. If your child is a toddler, allow the child to eat independently; you cannot expect them to clear the place and the plates.
Then get them to brush their teeth with your assistance.
When the child grows up to school-going age, make them do everything for them, like dressing up, eating, cleaning the plate, and getting the school bags ready.
All these little tasks will help them to become independent. There are no age restrictions to teach them independence, but you cannot cross boundaries.
For example, if your child is six years old, you might need some money to buy snacks during school time. You can give them some money but ensure they spend it properly. If you provide the money and allow them to spend as they like, it will ultimately affect them. Therefore, you must teach them to manage money from a young age. That gives them independence.
When you raise your kids, as I mentioned, they grow up good, successful, and helpful to others. Then gain self-worth and will maintain that all their life.
Teaching empathy will create good relationships in many forms, such as loving and professional success. It is also vital to prevent bullying, developing hostility, and other forms of cruelty. Empathy is all about perspective and showing kindness to people whom you meet. Like politicians, salespeople are skilled at offering a view to benefit themselves.
Children learn empathy from us by experiencing and watching us showing to others. When parents empathize with their kids, they feel secure and affectionate; later, they develop that for them. Eventually, they start to empathize with anyone who they have the closeness.
Children always watch how we empathize with others; for example, if we ignore a restaurant server, they notice then; on the other hand, when we accept a new family with empathy, they see that too.
If we want our children to be empathic, they should hear from us about how we care about others; it is our top priority. Therefore, we must be role models when teaching empathy to our kids.
Children are born with natural empathy, so it is up to us to nurture that in them. It is like developing a language learning or practicing a sport, so the heart needs practicing and learning to care for others. The children need guidance in caring for others' perspectives, and they need to have opportunities to practice that.
You can be an example to your children by showing sympathy and care to someone you know when they are sad, frustrated, and worried about something. You do that in front of your kids; they watch you and develop the same thing when it happens to some of their peers.
There are no rules for showing empathy. It is just how you value others with respect when you treat your kids like they learn from you and do the same.
Sometimes children need help understanding their feelings, so ask them why you call when they cry. How can I help you? That nurturing allows the child to return to normal and turn to something else.
It is an excellent way to nurture empathy with your kids to talk about other people's feelings and ask your child to put himself in other people's shoes. When your child shows compassion for others, praise your child for doing that. Teaching the kids to show empathy needs consistency. If not, kids will quickly forget that.
Some people become very hard on others with no sympathy because they always think about their hard life and do not want to consider others. Therefore, if they have children, they teach their kids that becoming a bad thing to learn from their parents could affect them later. Because we all know, what goes around comes around.
Therefore, it is suitable for you and your child to empathize with others, especially people in need, but you do not have to overdo it.
As parents, we should take the responsivity to teach our children to learn sound practices f teach them when they are young; if we leave it too late, we will not be able to change their bad habits later.
We all find it easier to teach children the good habits we want, as they will listen to you when they are young and growing up. We must show affection and love when we teach it; we also need to set house rules and tell them they must abide by them in their minds. When they are listening to us and obeying the house rules, the kids need praising, and at the same time, we should not ignore and bring it to their attention when they try to misbehave.
Love and harmony at home
We should also teach the kids to love their siblings, not attack or fight with them; it is essential to put strict rules towards it, as it will stay with them when they grow up as brothers and sisters. Children will have to teach to forgive and forget other people's mistakes and not keep in mind resentment, and we must amuse them by saying if you stay too much resentment in your mind, there will not be room for beautiful thoughts. Besides, we should teach children not to tell lies under any circumstances and always speak the parents' truth to support bringing them out of any trouble they face.
Respecting Elders
The critical aspect we as parents have to listen to us is that learning to listen will create respect for the elders. Any child who knows to respect the elders will be successful in their life. Many children have become violent and verbally abusive, as their parents did not teach them to respect their elders. We must show them as role models by respecting each other in the family. The rule should implement that any screaming or fights are not allowed in the family home; this will help them become peaceful people.
Maintain cleanliness at home.
We always have house rules to maintain a clean home, and children must know it. Parents should teach them to clean the plates and cups after every meal, always use the
Dustbin to put the rubbish, and take part and pay attention to the house's general cleanliness instead of leaving everything to the parents to pick up. We have to set the daily routine for everyone in the household and explain to the children about it and follow it.
Safety
We have to take care of children's safety all the time and explain the procedures to follow them. The children need to advise that they should not talk to strangers when they are on their own. When they are at home, tell them not to play with the electric, gas, or kitchen knife, try turning on the cooker, use the iron not allowed at any time, and be careful with everything used daily. Kids need help when they use the internet because that gives protection.
Healthy Food
Children eating healthy food is vital as they grow up, and we encourage them to eat healthy food; we should be role models. Every child loves to eat hamburgers, sweets, and cakes; we cannot sit back and allow them to eat all that fatty food. Of course, it is a hard job to make them eat vegetables and fruits, but if they work on it regularly, they will get used to it, but we should not force them, as they will not do the same thing when they are eating out. When the moms go to food, shopping, let them choose what they like, it will help us a little, and different cooking methods will inspire them to eat healthy food.
We cannot overwhelm children by implementing the house rules in one go; they need time to grasp. We need to find a suitable time to talk to them in stages. Children usually do not like to listen; we have to find a convenient time for them to have a dialogue with them, offer them worthy things to cheer them up, and use that opportunity to introduce our rules. Children will become bored soon if we keep talking about a subject for too long, and they will stop listening to you.
These days, many people agonize over themselves regularly and either do not have sufficient energy or cash to think about others. When children are growing up, they need to learn about demonstrating fondness, consideration, and admiration for others from an exceptionally young age.
We expect decent treatment from others and figure out how to give it back to others similarly.
Treat others the way you need to get treated.
Advise your child to surmise that if you are in another person's position and got out-of-line treatment, you figure out how to pardon and never revisit their unkindness with the goal that they may learn eventually. Make them know before they say something to the others. Empathy has a tremendous impact on individuals' lives. Therefore, we should instruct our kids to acknowledge what capacity they will feel if somebody says anything to them.
If you can't say something decent, refrain from saying anything by any imagination stretch.
As the maxim suggests, it is essential to stay silent if no good thing can originate from the information exchanged. Ensure that you instruct your kids to keep things dynamic and keep down negative remarks when words may hurt.
Say please, and bless your heart.
Showing your kids high conduct is critical to you as a guardian. We trust that in leading them to be pleasant as youngsters, they will develop into thankful and all-around regarded grown-ups in public.
Try not to ruin your youngsters by giving them everything that they need.
As troublesome as it might be, showing your children they cannot have all they need is vital. You are helping them comprehend why they cannot have everything makes for promising youngsters and patient and grateful kids.
Continuously be caring.
Consideration is transmittable. The aggregate experience is whether you indicate graciousness. You will get it back. It makes individuals feel great. It is imperative to educate your youngsters that kind words and grins go far. While training, I am also learning which consideration and bolster work is superior to anything severity and dissatisfaction.
Make youngsters hear you out as a guardian.
Many children must set up to hear from their guardians at a young age. In any case, they will consider it and think twice about it after the harm happens, or perhaps they are grown up. Guardians should build up the kids' trust from an exceptionally young age by giving them loads of affection and bolster, letting them know instructive stories with cases; they will grow up and start believing the guardians. Show them to have significant affiliations, which will help their future. Making a youngster trust their guardian all around is critical for their future prosperity, and even though they imagine that they don't trust the guardians, they will, in any case, take the strides of the guardians. When they are growing up, they will tend to glance back at the penances made by the guardians and decide to make their folks feel pleased with them.
Keeping kids physically dynamic and sound isn't precisely a drop in the bucket.
"Families that make well-being, action and practice needs in their day-to-day life appreciate numerous advantages like fortifying family ties, creating similar interests, forestalling interminable maladies and, in particular, having some fun as a family.
The offers six "begin" tips for grasping a more beneficial way of life at home:
1. Focus on 20-30 minutes of physical movement as a family every day. Walk the canine as a gathering before supper; share an evening bicycle ride; play a round of label; plan fun weekend trips like nature climbs or skating.
2. Get ready for sound dinners at least five days a week. Unique formulas that utilize lower fat, sodium, and refined sugar; pick conventional and natural fixings when purchasing arranged dinners; buy products of the soil over unfortunate snacks.
3. Eat suppers together in the kitchen or lounge area if I am eating on the go or before the TV prompts negative dietary patterns.
4. Hold a week-by-week family meeting to set gathering objectives about well-being and movement. For additional support, display goals for the viewing pleasure of anyone passing.
5. Push and strife are significant guilty parties in undermining sound goals. Decrease stress at home by consenting to regard the property and sentiments of kindred relatives; acknowledge obligation regarding individual activities; and carry on in a mining and attentive way.
6. Praise accomplishment with first prizes. Appreciate; purchase another table game; make hand-made grants; strengthen achievements with positive verbal criticism.
Youngsters are more inactive than ever in recent memory; sitting in front of the TV and playing computer games instead of biking to the play area or playing kickball on the patio with their friends is an important cause. Moreover, even schools have quit accentuating wellness; in some regions, physical instruction has vanished entirely in light of under-financing.
Kids need regular activity to assemble solid bones and muscles. Practice helps children rest soundly during the evening and stay cautious during the day. Such propensities built up in youth help young people maintain substantial weight regardless of the hormonal changes, fast development, and social impacts that regularly prompt gorging. Active kids will probably get to be proper grown-ups.
How Soon Should I Teach My Kid to Save
It is always early enough to educate your children on how to spare! Indeed, the earlier you show them how to save, the better they will be at figuring out how to deal with their cash later. On the off chance that they begin early spring, they will comprehend the estimation of money, and the amount can gather after some time by sparing.
Is it good for me to begin showing my youngster how to spare? A conventional approach to start is to tail some of these tips to help you with helping your child to save:
1. Give your kid compensation, which will give your child cash that they can oversee. Urge your son to spare a minimum portion of their payment.
2. Demonstrate to your child the amount of premium they can procure after some time on their cash when they spare it! Particularly the force of accumulated dividends.
3. By sparing cash today, your children would have some money limited for the future, but they might need to make it.
4. Make sparing diversions for your child. Has your youngster put their reserve funds in a piggy bank or jug to watch their cash develop?
5. Open a financial balance for your child and let them store cash from their remittance or other monies into their ledger.
You say this is all excellent data, but be that as it may, you can only give your children a stipend if you need more cash. What is advisable for me to do? I genuinely need my tyke to figure out how to spare. Try not to fuss; they can even now spare! You can have them save by gathering jugs and jars to gain cash so they can begin sparring. Regardless of the amount of money your children win, each sum includes!
Along these lines, it is simple; it truly is! Get kids into the propensity for sharing today, so they will figure out how to deal with their funds now and for what will come.
We all want to be the best parent we can be, but we sometimes doubt whether we are doing what is best for our children. Excellent parenting skills are learned; we are not born with them.
Mistakes by new parents
Most new parents make mistakes as new parents, or even sometimes, they reach adulthood and become sensible. The kids grow up, and the parents can lend support to rectify the errors. Maybe one of the parents is still making mistakes, so the kids see that they live with their parents as youngsters. One parent, probably the mother, gives them some help, but the kids do not get support like some children in other families.
We are teaching young kids life lessons.
As parents, we must teach them life lessons and school education from a young age. Besides, we must be role models to learn valuable things and keep the good stuff they have learned from us forever. I grew up with my dad. I cannot remember him ever talking about our lives; he could not find time to dedicate in that way. My mother died soon after I was born, so he was left alone with three girls, and his job was to make money for everyday living. Even today, I can look back and remember how he struggled, and I want to pay my respects to my dad for his disciplined life. My dad was a schoolteacher. He spent his life educating his three daughters, including myself. What can you expect from a single parent like my dad more than that?
Selfish parenting
In some families, parents give preference to one child when compared to the other child. If that continues, what will happen after that? If a parent becomes selfish and supports a child thinking that this child will look after him later. They are all young at some point. They will not understand your reason but realize their brother or sister is getting a different treatment. That will affect all of them in the end, and you will see the consequences and start to regret it; then, after the damage becomes very difficult to straighten that. Therefore, a mother's responsibility is to bring unity to the family so that all kids will get along with each other.
Kids are learning to get along with each other.
My son Neil has two son boys—8 & 6 years old and constantly competing with each other. My eldest grandson Dhil tries to attack the younger one, Dhruve, by not playing with the toys. However, their parents make sure both get along with each other by advising the elder one. If I happened to say Dhil did not do anything serious, ignore that my son Neil immediately says if I miss, it now will escalate into a big one when they grow up. That is correct, as I have experience with my two sons because of my ignorance that all happened and escalated. We need to teach them how to get along with each other in the family from a young age. If we neglect them, there will be division as they grow up and be there.
What the kids learn will be there forever.
The education that my father gave us remained with us as educated individuals. I am writing this because what you give your child at a young age will be there forever with the child if they learn bad things from the parents. Moreover, the parents realize it will never happen and want to change their bad habits.
Extra activities
We send our kids to preschool than school, and they get to go to various activities like music, gymnastics, swimming, and many more. Because we realize that the kids must learn all these when they are young, all this help by the parents will make them grow as intelligent and successful individuals.
We need to respect the child.
If parents shout and scream at the child, they will copy that from you. They will later use that new skill outside or at school, what they have learned from you. Some parents do not realize that behavior at home will be detrimental to their future.
Your child's teenage years.
Your child is growing up to the teenage level, which is difficult for you and your teen. It is the most challenging time in childhood and for you as well. The crucial issue is keeping them close and not letting them move away from you. You must learn how to keep your child close to you. If not you, they walk away; consider losing your teen forever. Then there is a possibility of becoming bad for themselves and society. It again makes you feel guilty that you have allowed yourself to move away and keep planning how to get your teen back.
Money management
Children could learn to manage money from age six by maintaining their pocket money. As adults, some of us find it hard to handle cash accurately and end up in serious trouble at some point. So, firstly we must learn to manage money and then pass that skill to our kids. Money management skill is one of the best talents that will last forever with the kids and make them successful and confident in life. If they do not learn money management, they start in the wrong way and end up in big trouble, especially during their teenage years. Therefore, teaching kids to manage money from a young age helps them have a better life.
Have a peaceful and loving home.
The parents' issues will ruin the kind, and supportive times the kids could have had when they lived with their parents. A parent might be selfish and think about him constantly, giving mental torture to the partner. Who is affected in a situation like that? Then the kids will not enjoy the good times with their parents; ultimately, their education is concerned. All these might be some of the parents' bad habits when the kids are young.
Parents become role models.
Possibly the mother provides care and love as much as possible to the kids despite her partner's attitude toward the family. If a partner is irresponsible and behaves incorrectly, the mother cannot give her best to the child. In some cases, some kids move out and go their own way. Then they start to practice the same in their own life. Do you blame that child for that sort of attitude? No, I will not because that child has seen the role model at home for bad behavior. However, the child at home will stick to the excellent parent, possibly the mother. That particular child listens to the mother and grows up as a responsible individual.
Parents regret past mistakes.
The mother pays all attention to that particular child and helps the child improve. The child also leaves home for higher studies, and the mother remains with the father. The mother has lost all her interest in life, apart from her love for their kids. Moreover, she has plenty of time to return to her kids' lives when they were living with their parents. Then she starts to regret that she cannot advise them or teach good things now for them. The only solution that she will find is to ask God to help. Whatever is said, they would have lost respect for the mother because of past incidents in their life and will not listen to her at this stage.
Kids compare their parents with other parents.
Some parents lookout for mentors, but will that help your child? You want to teach your culture and traditions to your child from a young age; how do you go about it now? Your children might compare you with their friends' parents and start to worry; you know about it because they tell you. Will you have an opportunity to put that right? No, it is impossible, so now, extreme patience is needed for you to get a chance to speak to them. Why not start praying and ask God to give you an opportunity for that? Nevertheless, do not forget that you were so lucky your children are doing well after all. Therefore, you have to show them kindness and patience to get them close to you.
Have patience and give support.
It is entirely out of the question that you can go back to the old days and teach them. Nevertheless, you can do some things for them, like helping them when needed. Always pray for happiness, safety, and security. Do something that they can remember you for at least all their life. Try your best to support them in difficult times and always go along with them. They should be able to talk about you in their society and feel proud of you. However, the anger they had at a young age will be there with the best you do. Therefore, you must have patience until they start to forgive you.
When you help your child to develop, a positive attitude helps them to grow up as successful individuals. If we face negativity in something, try to turn that into a festive event that reassures us that we can overcome that issue. Similarly, you teach your children to look at the positive side of the negative aspects that happened.
The kids watch you and how you behave in your stress, as they are excellent listeners. Therefore, you remember that set an example of behavior in a healthy way when you are stressed.
Remember to encourage their accomplishment to build their confidence by saying things like these words:
1. I am grateful for you
2. You make me feel proud.
3. You are meaningful
1. You have great ideas.
2. I love being your parent
3. Your opinions are important
4. I believe in you
5. You are valuable
6. You make me happy
7. I am excited to spend time with you.
8. You are interesting
Always try to turn negative statements into positive ones. Choose to have a positive attitude. Could you put it on display? Make your home a positive place because you should have all the happiness in your home, then your kids will feel safe. Remember to smile; they, too, will learn the same thing from you.
Having a smiley face most times will make you feel happy as well, and when you keep smiling with your kids, that also enhances the connection. Besides, if you maintain a good sense of humor that encourages the kids to be brighter and healthier, they can face any challenges.
Parents have stopped saying no; instead, they must find other ways of expressing their disagreement, choosing words wisely instead of saying no. When you keep saying no to your child, it gives them stress, which is unsuitable for them.
Feel blessed that you have kids and do not feel stressed. Focus on what you have, not on things that you do not have because many couples want to have kids but cannot have kids for some reason.
As parents, we know that building our child's self-esteem is essential. Child development specialists tell us so. However, knowing it is crucial is not the same as knowing how to give your child a healthy sense of self-worth. There is no simple strategy, but parents can use several practical techniques to boost their children's self-esteem.
Make them feel wanted and give them self-confidence.
The important thing is to show them respect, not treat them with disrespect, then value and make an opportunity to praise their achievements and show them your interest in them; however small it used to make them feel confident and happy.
Acknowledge when bad things happen because they will. Do not dismiss the negative. Listen to your child and feel with them. "I know it hurts." "I realize you are having a hard time with this." "I can see you are disappointed." We often have difficulty coping with and understanding our feelings, so it is natural to feel uncomfortable when others share theirs.
The power to stay positive will help your child navigate difficult times. We cannot protect our children from disappointment and occasional failure. Instead, help them recognize their mistakes and still choose to stay positive.

Knowing how to manage money is an essential life skill. But when should you start, and what’s the best way to introduce kids to financial literacy?
Finance plays a vital role in our lives, enabling us to meet basic needs and enjoy various experiences. However, understanding its value doesn’t come naturally. Teaching children about money early on helps them develop good financial habits for the future.
Here are practical tips for educating your children about money management:
1. Be Transparent About Finances
It may be tempting to shield children from financial matters, but involving them in age-appropriate discussions can be beneficial. One effective way to start is by explaining where money comes from—through work and effort. Tell them that money doesn’t grow on trees and is used to pay for essentials such as food, clothing, bills, and housing.
Hearing conversations about financial decisions can help children understand the concept of affordability. As they age, consider showing them your bank statements or payslips to explain income, expenses, and what remains for discretionary spending. This transparency encourages responsible money habits.
2. Teach the Value of Money
Anyone who has taken a child to a store knows they often want everything they see! Giving children pocket money is a valuable way to help them learn to spend wisely.
Many parents start giving pocket money to their children as early as four years old. For instance, providing £3 a week teaches kids that they can’t always get what they want immediately. They must save up if they don’t have enough for a particular toy or treat. This practice helps them appreciate how much items cost and why parents sometimes have to say no.
3. Encourage Earning Money
While young children aren’t ready for formal jobs, they can earn money by helping with household chores. Tasks such as washing dishes, tidying toys, loading the washing machine, or helping clean the car can all be opportunities for earning small amounts of money.
If children want to save for something special, they can take on additional tasks to earn extra money. This teaches them the value of hard work and prepares them for the working world.
4. Promote Saving Habits
It's essential to allow children to decide how to spend their pocket money, but it’s equally important to encourage saving. Suggest that they set aside a portion of their weekly money, creating a savings pot for future purchases.
Allocating for a new toy or a game console helps kids understand the importance of delayed gratification. After patiently saving, they learn the satisfaction of buying something with their money.
5. Introduce Budgeting
Budgeting is a critical skill, especially in today’s economic climate. Involve your children in the monthly family budget to show them how you allocate money for essentials and discretionary spending.
One practical activity involves kids going grocery shopping weekly. They make a list together and search for the best-priced items in the store. This exercise teaches them to prioritize needs over wants and the importance of making thoughtful spending choices.
Additionally, it helps them budget their savings. Create a chart to track their progress toward a particular goal. If they dip into their savings, they will quickly learn that it takes longer to reach their target.
By fostering open conversations about money and providing hands-on experiences, you equip your children with the skills and confidence to manage their finances wisely as they grow.
Introduction
Welcome to my new online course, "Kids Learning Life Lessons."
Most of us make the biggest mistakes when raising our kids, failing to do the essential things for a child to grow up as the right person. One reason for this is that some of us lack parenting knowledge. Here, I will demonstrate how a lack of parenting knowledge can lead to disastrous consequences in our upbringing. Then, we start to regret it when it is too late. There are many reasons for the lack of parenting knowledge.
I can talk about my experience; I had no support or advice in raising children, and I made so many mistakes in bringing up my children. Therefore, I will now demonstrate why some parents require parenting knowledge. As a result, they fail to be good parents. Some of the parents themselves grew up without parents, grandparents, or any sincere guidance to help them raise their kids properly.
Then again, there is no internet, few books about parenting, and many moms who need help reading them. Besides, they never thought they needed proper guidance to raise their children to be the right people. Remember, changing the children's habits and helping them become better people will become problematic once you miss that chance.
As a successful parent, I would like to share a few things to help them grow into better individuals.
So, what you will learn from this course:
Learn to empathize with others.
Make them listen to you.
They need to know about money management.
Show gratitude.
Avoid conflicts.
Learn to get along with others.
These are a few things that I have mentioned here.
Respect
How to give affirmations
Teach them to be independent.
Likewise, you can teach your child many good habits to help them grow into the right person in this society. If you fail to teach them good habits at a young age, it will be impossible to change the bad habits and live with regrets.
I am writing this eBook to help parents acquire valuable parenting knowledge, so you can learn and become effective parents.
Thank you for taking my course.
