Gather crepe paper or bleeding tissue paper in bright colors and white 200 gsm cardstock; cut into small pieces and keep pencil, waterproof marker, scissors, spray bottle, and glue ready.
Explore fun textures by layering tissue with crepe paper on white cards, spraying water to fix colors magenta, orange, and red into random patterns for artwork or greeting cards.
Print colorful tissue patterns on white paper using layering and reprinting to create natural textures, dry overnight, then reuse leftover tissue to craft artwork or cards.

Create galaxy art by arranging planets, using foam tape to float them, and adding stars with white oil pastel, exploring textured patterns and dimensional shapes.
Create a textured, dimensional base by layering colorful crepe papers on tissue over white cardstock, then press and dry overnight to reveal a ready-to-use print.
Learn to create colorful texture papers by layering crepe paper onto tissue with glue, drying overnight, and achieving a velvety, shiny top layer for vibrant artworks.

I'm Priya. I'm an Artist and an Art Educator.
Over the years of helping children to find their joy and pleasure of creating art, I have tried many fun techniques and I'm looking forward to share my techniques, that help art-making more easier and creative for children!!
The above techniques are very interesting and I discovered them when I was experimenting with a variety of art materials. Even though the material used is very simple, the final Artwork is rich in textures and colors. The same techniques can be used in creating a large collage artwork. These type of lessons help children to be more creative and playful, improving their ability to put-forth their ideas and for later developing them!
Happy painting!!
