The majority of us are victims of our emotions and not the master, as a victim, we throw away our control and operate at the whims of circumstances. The honest truth is that each and every individual is responsible for how they feel and act, this responsibility is not transferable. Blaming another for how you feel is unjustifiable even if you were legitimately wronged. Emotions are poor masters because they are slaves of thought, what we feel is simply a reflection of what is happening in the mind and body, learning the mechanism of how our emotions are controlled by the mind and body is the key to a more fulfilling life. This course has some practical knowledge that will help you understand and kick out the emotion of depression by providing fresh insights that better arm you to be in charge and to flourish.
THINKING THAT MAY LEAD TO DEPRESSION
As humans we have a range of different emotions that are manifested according to the nature of the thoughts that we allow in our conscious attention, some thoughts trigger happiness just as others trigger anger. You can choose to think of some sad occurrence and you are guaranteed to feel the sadness. Your emotions follow your thinking, it is impossible to be genuinely thinking happy and you end up feeling sad.
