Welcome to the Kalari - Strength and conditioning training program. This program is based on different kinds of Martial arts workouts and drills from India.
This program is suitable for people who are already into the fitness and martial arts or at-least people should have a prior background of Fitness training or martial arts.
The program is intermediate to high intensity and could be difficult for beginners.
However, I encourage everyone and even beginners with motivation, enthusiasm or determination can try out this program.
This will improve your overall strength, endurance, conditioning and develop your stamina. The participants of this program won't find difficulty in doing any other form of fitness activity.
Or in an event that you boost that you're a fighter or a martial artist, you should almost certainly back up your words with some type of physicality. You may do well in class with your ki midsection doing customized techniques yet when you are required to do any kind of athletic test, as for instance fighting or safeguarding yourself, you may discover you are immediately winded and incapable to utilize the specialized techniques that you have learned. It doesn't make a difference how much specialized preparing you have on the off chance that you don't have the stamina or quality and energy to draw off your system of techniques viably – where you are really ready to do some harm and keep yourself out of damage in the warmth of the fight. I've seen some martial arts schools center generally around techniques and conditioning as is commonly said that a ton of times the more adapted fighter will outmatch the more talented and skilled contender.
Actually I have constantly favored a decent equalization throughout everyday life, and that goes with combative techniques, strength and conditioning; it keeps things crisp learning both the specialized capacity and the physical conditioning regardless of whether they are to be done independently. In the event that you are a piece of a dojo that does not concentrate on wellness yet rather utilizes its class time for specialized techniques, the obligation is on you to go out and supplement your physical strength and conditioning to advance further.
This program will give you a perfect opportunity to improve your strength, conditioning, stamina, endurance, flexibility, stability, power and a focused mind.
Whether you are invited to participate by friends for Marathon or a Armageddon Race. You will not be discouraged. Whether its a long distance cross country bike ride or long session of Zumba. You will not be discouraged. Whether you are a Martial arts fighter who has always been afraid of sparring or bouts because you lack stamina. You will not be discouraged this time.
With the practice of Kalari – Strength and Conditioning Program, which is based on various forms of Indian Martial arts systems you be able to participate into any form of sporting or fitness activity. This is simply the level one and the beginning and I promise to further enhance you with some more effective and intensive exercises and drills.
We will start with some of the stretching and dynamic warm-up exercises
SIDE SQUATS:
Each side squat should be on an exhale.
When you are side squatting on right leg ensure that your knee and foot is aligned, and the left leg must be straight with the left foot facing towards the sky.
To increase the intensity of the side squat you may touch your elbows to the ground.
(Incase if you find difficulty in deeper side squat then you may take the help of your arms by touching the ground)
BACK ROLL TO SQUATS:
Start with the squatting position and gently but carefully roll back, once your upper back touches the floor you may take the help of your arms to rebound the action to squatting position.
On every back roll there should be inhale and when you come to the squatting position you exhale.
Ensure that the transition between the back roll to squat is smooth and its not hurting your back.
