It was so important for Christ to impart to Julian that he does not want us to despair when we make mistakes or miss the mark. She relates the importance of not letting our failings stop us from being our authentic selves nor cause us to despair.  There is a reflection to help you take in this important advice from Julian.

This lecture gives us Julian's words of the 14th revelation and a listing of the major themes of this revelation.

In this lecture, Julian gives us a two-step prayer formula.

This lecture covers four topics from this revelation:  Christ is the ground of our beseeching; prayer unites the soul to God; spiritual sensations; and truth, wisdom and love.

Julian shares why there is no wrath in God concerning human-kind along with her understanding of grace and mercy.

This important parable came to Julian years after she receive her first showings. It is a treatise, if you will, on sin and her understanding on how God sees the sins of humanity and their consequences.  This profound parable is discussed in this and the next three slides.

This lecture is the beginning of Julian's sharing her understanding of the motherhood of God.

Julian assures us in this lecture that no naming of God, no titles of God can encompass the Divine, holy, transcendent mystery. Yet, in her understanding, she tells us how God rejoices in being our mother and more.

Of course, when Julian speaks of God as mother, she is speaking of what we know to be the ideal qualities of motherhood. No human can be the perfect mother. Yet she understands God to manifest the perfect qualities of motherhood. In this slide, Julian dives deeper into the concept of God as mother.

In this lecture Julian introduces us to Jesus, the second person of the Trinity, as mother God.

Here Julian goes deeper into the description of Mother Jesus.

Although Julian has discussed the notion of "oneing" in prior revelations, she receives more understanding of "oneing" in the 14th revelation.

Julian gives us consolation for our sufferings and hopeful optimism in this 15th revelation.

This is Julian's final divine revelation and really includes the main point of all the revelations. In this revelation, Julian addresses these themes: the soul as a city; you will not be overcome; love-longing; and love was his meaning.

In this lecture, Julian describes how Christ resides in our soul and how our soul resides in our heart.

This is such a hopeful sharing from Julian, that even amidst strife (which she does not diminish), we will not be overcome.

Julian tells us about three kinds of knowledge that God wishes us to have as well as the three kinds of longing God has for us.

In this lecture, Julian shares with us what the Lord's meaning was in giving her these visions. She also explains how she continued to reflect on her visions for more than 15 years. During that time she was receiving an even more profound understanding of some of her visions, which is why she wrote the Long Text of her Revelations (Showings).

We will close Julian's discussion of her visions with a prayer attributed to her.

This lecture will describe seven ways that Julian is relevant for us in today's world.
