Sit in a comfortable position in front of your altar.

Put your intentions in your altar and pay your respects to your sacred space by any significant gesture for you.

Take a moment to make sure that you are warm enough, and that you are seated in a comfortable position, having your spine straight up.

Rest your hands on your lap. Now close your eyes.

Relax your shoulders.

Relax your face and put a smile on your beautiful face and open yourself to a bigger inner smile with your whole body!

Take a deep inhale...hold it for a moment, and then slowly exhale.

Just allow any tension to melt away as you slowly become more and more relaxed with each breath you take.

Continue your long and slow breath…

Each time inhale deeply… Hold, then slowly exhale and empty your lungs completely with each exhale.

Continue for a couple of more rounds...

Gradually you’ll find yourself into a state of deep relaxation.

Continue to breathe slowly and gently.

To prepare yourself for your dance meditation:

-Wear something light in which you can easily move your body.

-You will need a mirror in front of you to start the meditation.

- You’ll be standing with your feet rooted to the grounds with eyes closed to start your DONN session. You can stay with your eyes closed or open your eyes but try to look inside and not get distracted by outside.

-Open your mind to the practice. Let go of any judgment and just dance like a fool and let yourself be completely free.

-Be with your breath all the time

-Be playful and creative

-Let your body move in different forms and ways

-Change your speed

-Change your directions

-When you enter your dancefloor, touch the ground beneath your feet. Thank the earth for holding you. Pay respect to Your earth, your gurus, your guides and all the spirits of dance.

-At the end just let go and surrender your whole body to the earth.

-have some blanket or warm clothes, so that you won’t have to move during your practice.

-We will finish in lying down or sitting in silent mediation
