Hello and welcome to The Contemplative Christian. A Journey Along the Healer’s Path. Some years have gone by since developing this class. It was created before the terms eco-anxiety and eco-grief were common knowledge. It was created before the pandemic lockdown and of our losses. Before the conversation became so divisive and toxic it became scary to say just about anything. You’ll also notice it was back before my hair turned white. So, why am I still recommending it to you? Because its teachings, tools and techniques are timeless.
Why study with me? I’ve poured everything I have into working to heal the world in various ways. I’ve comforted the sick and dying, and I’ve authored books films and apps focused on contemplation or mindfulness for stress reduction, Celtic Christianity, social entrepreneurship, bible basics, eministry and more. I care about sharing what I know. That’s why I want to invite you to journey with me along the healer’s path.
In this course I’ll pass along so many tools and techniques that I know to empower you, so that you can pursue your quest to bring a new message of hope and healing into the world. This course includes the deep knowledge of a lifetime of work in pursuing and answering the question: “How can we both rest in the heart of a great god who has knowledge beyond ours and tools we don’t have and also discern the way forward as partners in God’s work, moving us towards peace with justice?”
I welcome you and wish you blessings along the healer’s path. Are you ready? Let’s go!
