Antidote to Chaos: Jordan Peterson 101
What you'll learn
- Mytho-poetic, clinical/scientific, and socio-historical arguments from Peterson's "12 Rules for Life"
Requirements
- High school reading level
Description
This course presents mytho-poetic, clinical/scientific, and socio-historical arguments from Peterson's "12 Rules for Life," as a solid introduction to the main themes in his work.
The focus on arguments allows and encourages students to come to their own conclusions about this controversial figure. Likewise the learning activities which are experiential and social are meant to provide opportunities for students to come to a strong personal position on the rules and the reasons behind them.
Currently only two the rules have been fleshed out. There's already a lot to consider and work with, and I will add to what is here.
Who this course is for:
- People interested in a "100-level" (1st-year college) level course in Peterson's thinking.
- Ideally students will be interested in applying the rules in their own lives and discussing the results.
