Description

Music improvisation is perceived as difficult skill to master. So, it is not surprising many legendary Jazz musicians are inspired by Indian Classical Music - because of unique melodic phrasing, musical depth and spirituality. 

At the end of the course, you will be able to confidently improvise 3 ragas. 

The ragas are the building blocks of Indian Classical music. This is course will teach the fundamentals of Indian Classical music. You will learn to apply a 3 phased approach to master ragas. 

The practical exercises will guide you through melodic phrasing patterns of different complexity. Mastering these phrases will give you confidence to apply these phrasing in your performance. You will be encouraged to unleash your own creativity by forming patterns.
