I need help with a personal Japanese translation. Can you help me?

Am I able to download this course so I can watch offline?
Unfortunately, due to privacy concerns, you will not be able to download the lectures and slides to your computer. Please watch while you are online.
You can download vocabulary pdf each steps.
What if I feel that you are speaking too slowly or too quickly for me?
No problem! Udemy allows you to speed up or slow down the video to accommodate all learners. While you are watching the video, on the bottom left hand side of the screen, you will see a box that says “1x”, which is the playback speed. Click on that box and you can then adjust the speed up or down. If you listen multiple times by adjusting speed, hopefully you will able to listen my pronunciation. That's the good listening practice.
Am I required to leave a review?
Udemy will ask you for a review approximately 10 minutes into the course. Please know that if you don’t feel ready to leave a review at that time you don’t have to – you can leave a review at any time you’d like, or not at all. It’s completely up to you.
What do I do if the videos won’t play?
If this occurs, it may be due to your internet connection or browser. If you try a different browser and it still won’t work, please contact Udemy support, as they should be able to help you resolve this issue.
If you have not yet learned Hiragana, please watch the lesson video and learn the basic Japanese characters.
Welcome to our online Japanese language course: “Japanese Phrases for Relationships and Social Connection – 10 Steps.” This course is designed for beginner to intermediate learners who want to confidently navigate conversations related to friendship, socializing, and building personal relationships in Japan.
Through 10 practical steps, you'll learn a variety of useful Japanese phrases and vocabulary to help you connect with others in everyday and relationship-related situations—whether it's chatting with a friend, getting to know a coworker, or expressing your feelings to someone special. You'll also gain cultural insights into how relationships are built in Japanese society.
The first half of the course focuses on general relationship phrases (like those used with friends or colleagues), while the second half introduces more personal expressions that may be used when getting closer to someone. Both formal and informal speech styles are covered, so you’ll know how to adjust based on the situation.
Learn to:
Greet and get to know someone politely
Express feelings and intentions clearly
Understand common expressions used in friendships and budding relationships
Avoid misunderstandings and communicate respectfully
The course features interactive videos and practical exercises to help build your speaking, listening, and reading skills. While the lessons include Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji, 80% of the material is written in Romaji (alphabet), so even learners who cannot read Japanese characters can still participate.
Note: This course is focused on Japanese language learning and cultural communication. I’m not a relationship expert, so I cannot offer personal advice. I'm happy to answer your Japanese language questions in the Question & Answer section.
