Through 10 practical steps, you'll learn a variety of useful Japanese phrases and vocabulary to help you connect with others in everyday and relationship-related situations—whether it's chatting with a friend, getting to know a coworker, or expressing your feelings to someone special. You'll also gain cultural insights into how relationships are built in Japanese society.

The first half of the course focuses on general relationship phrases (like those used with friends or colleagues), while the second half introduces more personal expressions that may be used when getting closer to someone. Both formal and informal speech styles are covered, so you’ll know how to adjust based on the situation.
