Last updated 5/2026
English

What you'll learn

  • Use the core QMS vocabulary — nonconformity, corrective action, calibration, traceability — with confidence in everyday work.
  • Apply the PDCA cycle, the process approach, and the seven quality management principles without ever opening the standard.
  • Spot common nonconformities before they become customer complaints and know how to escalate them properly.
  • Behave well in an internal or external ISO 9001 audit — what to say, what not to say, and why honesty wins.

Description

This course contains the use of artificial intelligence.

Quality is not someone else's job. Whether you run a precision lathe, answer customer calls, sign off supplier invoices, or onboard a new colleague, every employee's daily decisions either strengthen or weaken your organisation's Quality Management System. This course is built around that reality.

ISO 9001:2015 — including the 2024 climate-action amendment — is the world's most adopted management-system standard, with over 1.4 million certified organisations globally. But most awareness training treats employees as if they were studying for an audit. We don't. This is scenario-driven training set inside a fictional but very recognisable mid-sized European manufacturer, Meridia Precision Tools — a company in the middle of responding to a customer quality-warning letter while preparing for a 2026 surveillance audit.

By the end of about 2.5 hours, you will be able to use the core vocabulary of QMS, nonconformity, corrective action, calibration, and traceability with confidence; recognise the seven quality management principles and what they look like in your daily work; apply the PDCA cycle and the process approach without ever opening the standard; spot common nonconformities before they become customer complaints; behave well in an internal or external audit without anxiety; contribute meaningfully to continual improvement, document control, and risk-based thinking; and understand the 2024 climate-action amendment plus a preview of where ISO 9001:2026 is heading.

The course includes 13 short video lectures (~7 minutes each), 4 section quizzes (20 graded multiple-choice questions), 2 hands-on assignments (Spot-the-Nonconformity scenarios and a Personal Quality Charter), and a 40-question scenario-based practice exam.

This is awareness training for everyone — production floor, office, customer service, finance, HR, IT, and new hires. No prior quality background is assumed. Warm tone, plain language, and zero clause-by-clause grinding. Come ready to think differently about the work you already do.

Who this course is for:

  • General employees and factory-floor staff who execute QMS-controlled processes every day.
  • Office staff in HR, finance, procurement, IT, and customer service who contribute QMS evidence.
  • Line managers and team leaders who sign off competence records and own minor nonconformities.
  • New hires across any function who need onboarding-level QMS literacy.
  • Anyone preparing to participate in an internal or external ISO 9001 surveillance audit.
