Job Overview

An ISO 45001 Lead Auditor is responsible for evaluating and ensuring an organization's compliance with the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) standard. The Lead Auditor conducts audits, assessments, and provides recommendations to enhance workplace safety, reduce risks, and improve overall occupational health and safety performance across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and manage ISO 45001 audits to ensure compliance with OHSMS requirements in organizations.

• Develop audit plans, review documentation, and identify areas for improvement.

• Assess risk management, hazard identification, and operational controls related to occupational health and safety.

• Conduct interviews with employees, inspect facilities, and evaluate workplace conditions to ensure compliance with ISO 45001 standards.

• Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings, non-conformities, and recommended corrective actions.

• Provide guidance and training on ISO 45001 requirements, best practices, and continuous improvement strategies for workplace safety.

• Assist organizations in implementing corrective actions and improving their occupational health and safety management system.

• Stay updated on ISO standards, industry regulations, and best auditing practices related to occupational health and safety.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Certified ISO 45001 Lead Auditor (IRCA or equivalent).

• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety principles, risk management, and auditing techniques.

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in industries such as construction, manufacturing, healthcare, and other regulated sectors is an advantage.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit projects efficiently.
