ISO 22000:2018 is an internationally recognized food safety management system that can be used in any organization in the food chain. It was initially published in 2005 to overcome the number of food crisis. It facilitates the harmonization of international food safety rules and regulations. Its latest version comes in 2018 so ISO 22000:2018 is the latest food safety management standard. The standard really helpful in alignment of the strategic direction of the organization with respect to food safety management system


ISO 22000:2018 is developed on a high-level structure. This high-level structure is beneficial in the integration of other management standards. ISO 22000:2018 enables an organization to use a process approach (PDCA) cycle along with risk-based thinking

This standard is designed to enable organizations to control food safety hazards along the food chain. This standard also applies to all types and sizes of organizations in the food industry.
