Irish Language Intensive

This intensive and immersive language course introduces the Copula of Identification in the Past Tense in all its forms. It is only suitable for those who have completed more basic courses covering tenses and the fundamentals of word order. It is a challenging ride through the Copula and the Comparative and Superlative Adjectival Forms in the Present and Past Tenses. Learners are introduced to the Genitive Case for the Masculine and Feminine Singular Nouns. As always, students are encouraged to build on their vocabulary as they progress through the lessons and to re-do the small tests as often as necessary until they can answer the questions intuitively and without thinking. For those who are interested in film and literature there is some useful vocabulary that will be developed in further and more specialized courses in the future. Students are encouraged to review previous courses if they feel the need to review trickier concepts before progressing to the more advanced courses. This course, as with all the other courses offered by Laura here on Udemy, is a colourful and engaging series of lectures. Students are encouraged to use their Irish by joining a Conversational Irish class, either in person or online. This course is for serious language learners who want to make rapid progress and are willing to dedicate time each day to learning the Irish language.
