Manual control is the power that Filmic Pro gives you. Control over focus, ISO, Exposure and more.
The live analytics mode in Filmic Pro features four buttons to enable:
This overlay assists with setting exposure by overlaying the image with red forward stripes for areas of overexposure. Blue backward stripes indicate underexposure areas.
The clipping overlay shows areas of exposure that are clipped. Red indicates overexposure clipping and blue is underexposure clipping.
Shows a complete picture of the scene’s exposure profile. Remember that ‘green is good’. Areas of red indicate overexposure and blue indicates areas of underexposure.
Light blue indicate areas of focus and green indicates the target is in critical focus.
First look at the new app from Filmic. It is free, so why not download it and start playing with it. I show you some ideas in this first tutorial. Certainly these features will make it the Pro version of FIlmic Pro and I'll make new tutorials when that happens.
