In this course, we will do a deep dive into startup financing in Latin America.
Raising money is a low probability game. You need to understand how investors think to be able to raise money successfully for your startup.
During this course, I will be teaching how investors in Latin America think about and analyze startups. We will have in-depth conversations around startups with several real world investors (Angels and VCs).
Designed for tech entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs interested in building startups in Latin America, this course provides insights into the minds of several investors operating in this region for many years in their own words.
Throughout Latin America, the number of online buyers and e-commerce sales are expected to continue to increase significantly over the next few years. While Latin America consists of more than 20 countries, the region is dominated by six key markets – Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru. Stretching from the northern border of Mexico to the southern tip of South America, including the Caribbean, a number of startup hubs have emerged within these key markets. All good news for entrepreneurs.

Instructor
Sramana Mitra is Founder and CEO of One Million by One Million (1Mby1M), a global virtual accelerator that aims to help one million entrepreneurs globally to reach $1 million in revenue and beyond. She is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur and strategy consultant, she writes the blog Sramana Mitra On Strategy, and is author of the Entrepreneur Journeys book series and Vision India 2020. As an entrepreneur CEO, she ran three companies: DAIS, Intarka, and Uuma. Sramana has a master’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2015, Sramana was named one of LinkedIn’s Top 10 Influencers, alongside Bill Gates and Richard Branson.
