Description

THE COURSE

This course is basically the compilation of my 4 Latin percussion courses. That is, my Conga course (Full Conga Course: Learn your first 100 rhythms), my Timbal course (Full Timbal Course: Learn your first 100 rhythms),  my Bongo course (Full Bongo Course: Learn your first 100 rhythms) and the new version of it.

In my opinion, music and percussion is like a language. When we learn a language, at the beginning it is important to learn the basic vocabulary. In the case of percussion, rhythms would be the equivalent of vocabulary. If we know how to play many rhythms, there will be a moment when we will begin to identify them in the songs or musical styles that we like the most. At the same time that we are developing our technique on the instrument in a more fun, practical and enjoyable way.

In the different courses, we will start by seeing the basic sounds of each instrument and then we will begin to see the different rhythms. In total we will see more than 300 rhythms. 100 of Conga, 100 of Timbal and more than 100 of bongo. With so many rhythms you can start to have a holistic and global conception of what Latin percussion is. And each instrument will serve as inspiration and reinforcement for the others, because they are all connected and complement each other.
