Description

Welcome to the world of Go, an ancient game that’s as simple as it is profound. Known as 围棋 (Weiqi) in Chinese and 바둑 (Baduk) in Korean, Go has been played by emperors, philosophers, and war commanders throughout history. This timeless game continues to engage and captivate modern intellectuals today. More than just a game, Go is a masterclass in efficient thinking, sharpening your mind with every move.

In this course you will learn the rules of Go in all of their simplicity and splendor.

The rules of Go could in fact be presented in a single video lesson. This course however has a different purpose. It is meant to make sure you can play your first games even without a teacher standing over your shoulder. Not only will you learn Go rules but you will also acquire some basic Go skills. Here's what you are about to learn:
Lesson 1. Go set, game objective, liberties.
