Description
This course introduces you to Tarot Therapy as an unconventional therapeutic modality that integrates the spiritual practice of Tarot with traditional methods of psychotherapy. You DO NOT have to be a licensed therapist, college graduate, or even a skilled Tarot practitioner as this course will simply introduce you to the fundamentals of Tarot Therapy.
Upon completing this course, you will demonstrate knowledge of the similarities and differences between Tarot Therapy, average Tarot readings, life coaching, and traditional therapy. You will gain a general understanding of basic psychology and how it is integrated with Tarot Therapy. You will know what the four goals of Tarot Therapy are and will acquire the skills and knowledge related to various Tarot spreads for self-awareness and shadow work. You will also learn how to create Tarot profiles and utilize the Wheel of Life as a tool to identify a client's issues or problems.
This consists of 6 video lectures which will cover such topics as: What Tarot Therapy is and what it is not, basic psychology and traditional therapy, using tarot therapy for self-awareness and shadow work, tarot profiles, and what it looks like to put all of this together to conduct a tarot therapy session.

Instructor
Nyki Carreathers holds a BA in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach and has been practicing Tarot for over 10 year's. She is the founder of Tarot Therapy for the Soul and defines her Tarot Therapy as "an unconventional therapeutic modality that integrates the spiritual practice of Tarot with traditional methods of psychotherapy to address issues of trauma, negative thinking, and unhealthy patterns of behavior."
