Description

Steam is generated  in steam generators/boilers and is widely used in process heating and power plants.

Students doing their diploma or from undergraduate, graduate or postgraduate fields would immensely benefit if they master the steam properties . Several terms like saturated liquid water, wet steam, dry saturated steam are explained in an easy to understand manner.

The concept of saturation temperature or what is known as boiling point is clarified .

Terms like specific enthalpy of saturated water, dry saturated steam and wet steam are explained and use of steam tables to extract these properties is explained with the help of examples . 

Terms like specific volume  of saturated water, dry saturated steam and wet steam are explained and use of steam tables to extract these properties is explained with the help of examples .
