This course is designed for students who are brand-new to writing SQL queries. Specifically, the course is for professionals who need SQL skills to manage and manipulate data. The course covers the most common and frequently used code and  leaves out the advanced stuff to focus on the concepts that you actually need.   

We start from the beginning with relational database concepts. Then, you will get comfortable pulling data with simple SELECT queries. You will move on to advanced SELECTs and data manipulation. You will leverage more complex data retrieval by using subqueries, joins, outer joins, and unions. The instructor will teach you to use CASE statements to specify conditions when retrieving data. Then, you will learn to maintain your records with INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE.

This class teaches you all of the essentials of the SQL language -  one of the most marketable and important languages in today's data-driven world.
