This is a project management introduction course.
In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of project management. The course is designed for curious students who want to dip their toes in the waters of project management.
Of course, we will go over concepts very quickly, and a lot of things will not be covered. However, by the end of the course, you will understand the bedrocks of project management, and we will cover all areas of project management knowledge.
We will talk about the project life cycle from cradle to grave, and touch on project scope management and schedule management.
We will review the key tools for cost management of the project, and discuss how to manage quality.
We will answer the most fundamental questions about resource management and how to communicate efficiently.
Furthermore, we will discuss procurement and how to manage it.
Finally, we will talk about stakeholders. This area is often overlooked and we will discuss efficient stakeholder management tools.
By the end of the course, you will be familiar with key tools and techniques of project management. Surely there will be more to learn after this course, yet it will set a strong foundation for you to move forward in your project manager journey and it will help you to become a more proficient communicator when you are a part of a project team.
