This course is presented by Dr Michael Gibson who has 40 years of Drilling Industry experience and he has written a great deal of training material throughout the years as well as many SPE, IADC and Industry Conference Papers.

In Module 1, Assessing the situation, we will begin by looking at reviewing the Warning Signs When Circulating, tripping in, tripping out, running casing, making connections and reaming. We then look at determining where the string is stuck and assessing the conditions of the drill string and fish downhole.

In Module 2, Downhole Operations, we will begin by looking into upper string recovery, lower string recovery, junk, lost side-wall sample bullets, freeing stuck logging tools & stuck wireline. We then look at packer fishing, stuck casing, casing milling guidelines, milling general and fishing practices summary

Finally, there are several questions which the delegate is required to answer in order to understand his or her understanding of the subject material. This is an informative course which is both interesting and enjoyable. Sign up today!
