Google Slides is an online application which is part of the Google Workspace collection. Slides is a tool for creating and delivering online presentations. It is possible to collaborate on these presentations with other users. Slides is also integrated with other Google applications for seamless connections. This course is designed to teach students the fundamentals of Google Slides. Students will first learn how to access and navigate the Slides interface. They will then learn how to create a new presentation both from scratch and from available templates. They will learn how to work with PowerPoint presentations within Google Slides. They will learn how to add text and slides, and work with design themes. They will learn how to edit and format text, and work with the Slide Master to make global presentation changes. They will also learn how to add images, shapes, and tables to a presentation. In addition, they will learn how to add charts to display data graphically. Students will also learn how to add videos to presentations, and how to add animations and transitions to slides to create more engaging presentations. They will learn how to share presentations and collaborate on them with others. Finally, students will explore how to prepare to deliver a presentation.
