Ron has more than thirty years’ experience working in the field of international development. He has developed and managed large-scale international development projects in countries around the world in the fields of education, health, the environment, workforce development, and good governance. Ron is the author of the book Global Citizenship: A Path to Building Identity and Community in a Globalized World (2012). He also is Co-Founder and Director of The Global Citizens’ Initiative (TGCI), an international organization whose mission is to promote the practice of global citizenship among individuals and organizations. Ron has a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and master’s degrees in African studies (University of Birmingham, UK) and international public administration (Maxwell School of Citizenship, Syracuse University).
