Instructor
I'm from Italy, not far from Milan, so yes, I love food and everything that tastes good!
I have a background in business and marketing but fell in love with fermentations and beer pretty soon, probably because I'm lucky enough to live next door to one of the first Italian craft breweries, Birrificio Italiano.
I attended my first tasting course in 2013, started homebrewing immediately and grown from there. I started teaching beer tasting courses in 2018 and became officially a BJCP beer judge in that year. Since then I've been judging in beer competitions in Italy and abroad.
I like to visit local breweries and food producers whenever I travel (and I travel quite a lot!) and sample all the local specialties. My main hobbies are rock climbing, hiking, and, again, traveling. I've also been playing around with kombucha lately.
