Welcome to my Udemy course on Intimacy, Sexuality, and Relationship Resources for individuals with autism spectrum disorder!
Participants in this course will learn about existing strategies for addressing these topic areas in occupational therapy practice, as well as the need and the importance of providing education and resources on these topics to individuals with autism and their families. This Udemy course contains lectures, resources, and handouts in order to educate on these topic areas. This presentation contains downloadable materials and presentations to dive deeper into each topic area and how to specifically address these topics with both parents and individuals with autism. The end of the lecture contains questions to test knowledge and understanding of the information covered throughout the presentation, and the course itself may take up to an hour to get through with the addition of extra downloadable content and materials. This course was developed over a 14-week doctoral capstone experience and is based on evidence found in the literature through research, as well as interviews with various professionals that work with individuals with autism spectrum disorder.
