If one is to take responsibility for finding happiness, acknowledge that you can change your circumstances by taking action. Others may want put themselves first and practice better time management. Gratitude, thankfulness, or gratefulness, from the Latin word gratus "pleasing, thankful", is a feeling of appreciation felt by and/or similar positive response shown by the recipient of kindness, gifts, help, and for what we do have in life. To practice gratitude, reflect on what you are grateful for each morning to shape the rest of the day, keep a gratitude journal, and reframe negative experiences by finding something within them for which you are grateful.
