About Coach Ashlie Hain: Currently serving as the Head Women's Volleyball Coach at the University of California Irvine (UCI), Hain brings a wealth of experience to the table. She was a two-time team captain and setter for the Anteaters, playing at UCI from 2001-04. Her legacy at UCI includes being the career leader in assists with an impressive 5,698 and ranking fifth in career digs with 1,175. After her time at UCI, Hain returned as the Head Coach after coaching at American River College (ARC) and serving as a Professor of Kinesiology. Her coaching career has yielded 12 first-team All-Big West performers, four honorable mention honorees, and three All-Freshman team selections, including the Big West Freshman of the Year in 2018.

Hain's coaching record at ARC includes amassing 127 wins in six years, earning her the Conference Coach of the Year title and Northern California Coach of the Year in 2013. Ashlie Hain also brings professional playing experience to her coaching role, having spent two years in the ranks, playing in Stuttgart, Germany, and Split, Croatia.
