Configure tools to interact with azure cloud for labs using Terraform. Sign up for a free observatory account with credit, install Visual Studio Code extensions, login, and set your subscription.
Configure the Azure provider in Terraform using provider blocks and authenticate with a service principal or managed identity to deploy resources on Azure.
Learn to taint and untaint resources in Terraform, review changes with plan and apply in Azure DevOps automation, and understand how tainting marks a resource for recreation without altering infrastructure.
Set up the frontend infrastructure with Terraform, creating a resource group, a virtual network with firewall and jumbo subnets, and a public IP, then deploy the firewall.
Set up an Azure backend with Terraform: create a resource group, virtual network with a web subnet, NIC, NSG, and a Windows web server VM with automated web server installation.
Review the entire lab setup, deploy missing configuration, and test a multi-tier infrastructure by configuring firewall rules, peering, and string concatenation in terraform to generate dynamic resource names.
Learn how Terraform modules organize, encapsulate, and reuse infrastructure, explore module structure and source types, and apply a lab using local and registry modules to improve consistency and reduce errors.
Learn how to define explicit dependencies in Terraform using the depends_on argument, override default deployment order, and use dependency graphs to troubleshoot and ensure resources deploy in the intended sequence.
Learn to manage multiple environments with Terraform workspaces, keeping separate state files for test, staging, and production, and safely apply configurations per environment.
Manage multiple environments by using separate directories per environment, keeping state files local and preventing cross-environment impact, with test and production setups using local and foam registry modules.
Configure a virtual host to deploy an Azure resource group using a system managed identity with Terraform. Execute plan and apply after setting provider details and IDs.
Explore DevOps as a set of practices that merges software development and IT operations to shorten lifecycles through real-time feedback, automation, and continuous delivery on Azure DevOps.
Create an Azure service principal, grant Key Vault access, and initialize Terraform backend via environment variables or provider blocks for automated workflows on Azure.
Learn Infrastructure as Code with Terraform & automation with Azure DevOps on Microsoft Azure Cloud.
You will learn all version of Terraform which include v0.11, v0.12, v0.13, v0.14 & v0.15 in this course, Apart from that four other DevOps tools which includes
Visual Studio code, Git, Azure Cli and Azure DevOps all in one course. so this is 5 in 1 course.
